The Weyc's Oracular Focus

Fashioned in the likeness of an alien creature of writhing tentacles and bulbous eyes, this focus was crafted by the Weyc Heldr, one of the founding members of the Hand Occult - by their own histories, anyway.

The focus draws on the soul of the wielder to project a thin layer of defensive energy. While far from solid enough to actually halt a strong blow, the shield can deflect projectiles and weapons, preventing them from striking true.
