A hardy Rauataian weed that thrives along the country's rocky, storm-battered coast. In heavy wind and rain, its roots may release their hold, allowing the plant to be blown or washed to a more suitable location.

Also a slang for Rauataians who seek their fortunes abroad, often as mercenaries, bodyguards, and sailors.
